Not accepting new users

Turn every meeting into clear, owned action.

Inlocus records your meetings through a tiny browser extension, drafts the action items, and syncs them to your project tool — but only after you approve them. No bot in your meeting. No tasks you didn't review.

Inlocus is closed and not accepting new users.

No bot in the participant grid

A browser extension, not a bot in your call.

Bot-based notetakers add a third-party participant to your call and route your audio through their servers. Inlocus runs as a browser extension on the host's machine — fewer participants in the grid, recordings stored encrypted in your account, and you control retention. Hosts are prompted to inform participants per their jurisdiction's consent rules.

Inlocus prompts hosts to obtain consent. You're responsible for following your local recording laws (e.g. two-party consent states, GDPR).

Every meeting, reviewed

You approve. Then it syncs.

Inlocus drafts tasks from the conversation. You review, edit, or reject before anything reaches Asana.

How it works

Three steps. No bot. No bottleneck.

  1. Step 01

Install the extension. Connect your project tool.

Setup takes a few minutes. Google Calendar is optional — connect it if you want upcoming meetings auto-listed.

  2. Step 02

    Run your meetings normally.

Inlocus records locally through your browser. Nothing joins the call — your attendees never see a third party.

  3. Step 03

    Review your draft tasks.

Approve, edit, or reject. Approved tasks sync to your project tool with assignee, priority, due date, and a link back to the meeting.

Built for the meetings you actually run

Three meetings where this pays off.

For agencies

Client meetings

Every commitment to a client becomes a tracked task in your project tool. No bot in the call to explain. Nothing falls through the cracks between weekly check-ins.

NORTHWIND × ACMEWEEKLY

"Decisions, deadlines, and follow-ups land as tracked tasks within minutes."

For product teams

Sprint planning & retros

Action items go straight into your sprint board (Asana, Jira, Linear), with the source quote attached.

RETRO · SPRINT 246 ACTIONS

"Stop copy-pasting from Notion at 5pm Friday. Tasks ready before the meeting ends."

For managers

1:1s and team syncs

Personal action items per attendee, in their own task list. Managers stop being the bottleneck.

1:1 · SARAH ↔ PRIYABIWEEKLY

"Personal action items go to each person's own list, not a shared notes graveyard."

How we handle your meetings

Your conversations stay yours.

The browser-extension model gives us a stronger story than typical meeting tools — and we lean into it.

Recorded on your machine

No bot in the call. No third party in the meeting. Audio is sent securely to Inlocus, then encrypted and stored — TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest. You set retention: 7, 30, or 90 days, or delete after each meeting.

Only you have access

We don't sell data. We don't share it beyond the infrastructure providers required to run the service (listed on Security). Only you can access your meetings and tasks.

No AI training, ever

We do not train AI models on your meeting content. Period. Your conversations are used to generate your tasks — nothing else.

FAQ

Real questions from real prospects.

Anything else? Email contact@inlocus.co.

Will my recordings train your AI?

No. We never train AI models on your meeting content. Your conversations are used only to generate your transcripts and drafted tasks.

Where are my recordings stored, and for how long?

Recordings and transcripts are stored encrypted (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit) in your Inlocus account. You can delete any recording at any time, and all recordings are deleted within 30 days of account cancellation.

Is Inlocus recording without my attendees knowing?

No. The host is prompted that recording has started, and you're responsible for informing participants per your jurisdiction's consent rules (e.g. two-party consent states in the US, GDPR in the EU). The difference from bot-based tools is that no third-party participant joins your call — the recording happens locally via your browser extension.

Can attendees opt out of being recorded?

Yes. Any attendee can email support@inlocus.co to request their voice be excluded from a specific recording (or all of them) — we'll remove the audio and any derived transcripts. As host, you're responsible for informing participants per your jurisdiction's consent rules before recording.

Did a bot join my meetings?

No. Inlocus is a browser extension that records locally. Nothing visible joins your call.

What happens to recordings if I delete them?

Real deletion. Recording and transcript are removed from primary storage immediately and purged from backups within 30 days.

What if Inlocus drafts a task I don't want?

That's the entire point of the review step — reject it and it never reaches your project tool. You can also edit the title, owner, or due date before approving.
